Where I am From


I am from lemons that grow in my tree and
my hot pink bike from my yard.
From my special card and from my country Arizona.
From some French Fries.
From my puppy Chihuahuas.


I am from my dad’s good hamburgers and hotdogs.
From tamales my mom makes them good.
I am from my big, big house.
From my puppies Sol and Simon.
From my mom’s cooking.

I am from my sister’s babies.
From my dad and mom’s bed.
From the great smell of my class and the smell of popcorn.
I am from my teddy bear and my favorite pink and white bunny.
